Clara : The Face of Leo & Friends
Leo & Friends Pet Hotel was born from Clara's deep passion for dogs and their well-being, encompassing veterinary science, training, behavior, and socialization. While initially aiming for veterinary medicine, adopting Leo shifted her focus to a holistic approach, ultimately inspiring the creation of Leo & Friends.
Turning Point
From her personal experiences caring for Leo and her unwavering dedication to canine welfare, Clara's frustration transformed into a decisive action. She resolved to establish Leo & Friends Pet Hotel, envisioning a significant departure from standard boarding facilities.
Her ambition was to create a comprehensive center, thoughtfully integrating exceptional care with attention to health, training, and socialization, a vision directly inspired by her own needs and insights as a devoted dog parent.
How It Started
From a double-storey terrace house, to a bungalow, to a factory
Clara's journey into professional dog care started organically, caring for furry friends in her double-storey terrace house (initially called Precious Dog Boarding). But it was the love for Leo and a move to a bigger home that truly sparked the idea for Leo & Friends. Even after moving from the terrace house to a bungalow, the sheer and increasing demand underscored a vital need: a space intentionally designed for canine happiness and security.
This understanding propelled the creation of Leo & Friends Pet Hotel in Sunway Damansara, Petaling Jaya – a direct reflection of Clara's core principle that dog boarding must be, above all, SAFE and FUN!
This unwavering belief shapes everything, from meticulous staff training and stringent safety procedures to 24/7 attention and flexible schedules. It's the very same passion for comprehensive care that once guided her towards veterinary medicine, now joyfully channeled into every tail-wagging experience at Leo & Friends.

Problem Statement
Clara's firsthand experiences boarding her three dogs in Malaysia revealed critical deficiencies in the existing pet care landscape. She identified a significant absence of truly round-the-clock facilities, alongside worries regarding communication, customer support, weak vaccination protocols, and insufficient safety standards.
Personally experiencing the stress of limited updates and rigid scheduling, Clara also observed a potential lack of expertise in handling dogs with diverse personalities and requirements. This highlighted a clear unmet need for boarding services prioritizing proficient and compassionate care, a need that Leo & Friends Pet Hotel was created to address, fueled by Clara's long-standing commitment to canine well-being.
Future and Beyond
Clara aims to partner with a vet clinic in Sunway Damansara, PJ.
This collaboration would allow her to actively train her staff in best practices for approaching and handling dogs during veterinary visits, guaranteeing competent and gentle treatment for her doggy clients.
